Villa della Regina is a beautiful historical building with great panoramic views of the city and right at the city centre there are the Musei Reali - royal museums - which are worth the visit but if you don't want to pay for the ticket you can just enjoy the public space around them and a beautifully renovated fountain (present in one of my Some are great (Fuente del Berro, el Capricho) others are highly overrated (Oeste, Retiro), and others are not worth visiting more than once (Debod, Mirador Vallecas). And Copenhagen is a really good start for solo travelling as it's easy, to get around, no language barrier if you are from the UK, and lots of great things to see and do.
